Dr R C Mishra

DR. R.C. Mishra born in Fatehpur (UP) and did M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Science from University of Allahabad. He joined the Indian Police Service in 1989 and allotted Haryana cadre.

During his tenure as District Superintendent of Police, he has executed his responsibilities with utmost dedication, devotion and sincerity. He has shown keen interest in investigation of crime and has a flair for tackling law and order situations. He is a good leader and an exemplary administrator. His honesty, sincerity, intelligence, hard work and empathy for the public have ensured him the goodwill of all. He is considered one of the best IPS officer, the Haryana State has. He takes keen interest in the work assigned to him. Throughout his service, he has dedicated himself to selfness hard work, exhibiting keen sense of devotion towards duty. He is ready to perform the most difficult duties cheerfully. He has worked hard during the past 34 years of service to achieve highest standards in police work.
Dr. R. C. Mishra IPS has maintained a very high standard of work, ethics and integrity so far. He is a hardworking and conscientious police officer who can be tasked with any difficult work. Now present, He is posted as DGP/MD at Haryana Police Housing coporation, Panchkula.

  1. Received Medal from the “President of India” on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of India’s Independence.
  2. Awarded “World Hindi Millennium Award”, in September 2000 by International Association of Educators for world Peace (An Affiliate of United Nations –ECOSOC, UNDPI, UNCED, UNICEF, UNESCO) on the occasion of global Assembly of world Hindi Millennium conference held on 14-23 Sept.2000 at India International Center, New Delhi, India.
  3. Conferred “Human Rights Millennium Award” in December 2000 by International Association of Educators for World peace (An affiliate of United Nations –ECOSOC, UNDPI, UNCED, UNICEF, UNESCO), on the occasion of the Global Assembly of Educators for world Peace, Environment and Human Rights held on 23-29 December 2000 at India International Center, New Delhi, India.
  4. Awarded “India 2000 Human Rights Protection Award” on the occasion of the World human rights congress and global assembly of educators for World. Peace organized by the Indian Institute of Human rights (II HR) at New Delhi on 23-29 December 2000.
  5. Awarded “ Govind Ballabh Pant Puruskar” a certificate, cash reward and a shawl for successful translation of all three volumes of 150 years old Punjab Police Rules by B P R& D, MHA, Govt. of India, New Delhi in year 2000-2001.
  6.  Awarded Balbir Sahani National Golden Jubilee Award by Governor Himachal Pradesh at Shimla in 2005 for his outstanding contribution in the filed of environmental awareness & tree plantation and also for social work.
  7. Awarded by the “Environment Society of India”, Chandigarh in Aug. 2005 for his outstanding contribution in the field of Environment protection and conservation.
  8. Awarded for his book “Manvadhikar Sanrachhan ,” with a certificate shawl and Fifteen thousand cash on 4th March 2006, at India Habitat Centre by Justice A.S Anand, Chairman  National Human Rights Commission  New Delhi.
  9. Awarded President Police Medal for Meritorious Services on 26th January 2007. by the Govt. of India.
  10. National Road Safety Award (2008-09) by National Road Safety Council & Rashtriya Yuva Sangathan.
  11. Awarded by “Danik Bhaskar” news group for his service and outstanding contribution in the field of Green Environment, Tree Plantation & Social Service at karnal (Haryana).
  12. Baba Rameshwardass Trust Narnaul awarded for his outstanding contributing inthe field of social service and Environment (March 2011).
  13. Chanakya Award 2013 was awarded by Hind Educational Society North India and All India Shri Parshuram Mahadal, Panchkula (May 2013).
  14. Awarded President’s Police Medal for distinguished services in Jan.  2015.
  15. Matrabhumi Gaurav Samman was awarded by Matrabhumi Seva Mission,Kurukshetra in December 2016.
