Dr. Ramesh Chandra Mishra, IPS

Dr. Ramesh Chandra Mishra is a retired officer of the Indian Police Service, belonging to Batch No. 1989. During his tenure — which carried him from District Superintendent of Police to Director General of Police — he executed his responsibilities with utmost dedication, devotion and sincerity.

He has shown a keen interest in the investigation of crime and possesses a natural flair for tackling difficult law and order situations. Colleagues and the communities he served recognised him as a good leader and an exemplary administrator.

His honesty, sincerity, intelligence, hard work and genuine empathy for the public ensured him the goodwill of all. He is widely regarded as one of the finest IPS officers the Haryana State has had, taking keen interest in every responsibility assigned to him and working tirelessly across 35 years of service to achieve the highest standards in police work.
